 The contemporary Electronic Dance Music Sounds began in the 1990s and it was the next big thing in the EDM music industry at the time. This is an era which can be related by today’s listeners of rave music which is a prominent part of EDM music.
 Techno music, house music, dub, trance, hardcore rave and so on relate to this time period. This was the first time since the advent of EDM music when the genre started to seem like normal mainstream music industry and people started to listen to it a lot, even normally. This was majorly true in Europe.
 Night clubs’ culture began during this era and the EDM music was played there giving the genre a huge rise in fame. It is safe to say that the ‘rave’ culture had started in the 1990s.
 Two of the best music pieces of that time included Chime and “Halcyon On and On” which are both singles by the very popular British group, Orbital.
 Another very popular song of the time was “Strings of Life” which is still considered a classic and is very famous in the US.
